Well, we are certainly caught up in 'interesting times,' as the old curse goes, and I hope you're all safe and well. Perhaps some of you who suddenly have too much spare time are using it to catch up on the series-or compose an entry in the 'Favorite Quotes/Favorite Scenes' contest for a signed Advanced Reader Copy. Winners will still be announced on May 1. I don't know if the Destroyermen Fan Association has settled on a contest or not, but you can check it out by going t. O:I'm often asked if 'WINDS OF WRATH' is still on track for its June 9 release, and as far as I know, it is. I understand the Hardcover, Kindle, and Audible are ALL available for preorder and I urge you to do that if you can. I hope things are returning to normal by June, but who knows-and who knows what the mail will be like.

And for those who have fallen a bit behind, I DO recommend that you catch up. Not only does 'WINDS OF WRATH' pick up right where 'PASS OF FIRE' left off, there's little recapping, (too much going on), and it really is the epic, cataclysmic installment you've all been waiting for! I'm super excited for you to read it and I can't wait to hear what you think! Well friends, I got some very sad news today. It seems that the great Bill Dufris, who has PERFORMED all 14 of the previous Destroyermen books on Audio-along with countless other things of course-has passed away. Call of war review. I'd only recently learned he was ill, but you know how it is, you always hope.I've spent the day wrapping my head around it, but I know how many of you were huge fans of his and I felt that you needed to know. He will be deeply missed by so many who love.

D how he took on every 'voice' in a story, admired his amazing skill, and just loved to hear his voice. I recently spoke at great length with the wonderful P.J. Ochlan, who not only was a great friend of Bill's and worked with him on a number of projects, but will now pick up where Bill left off by performing 'WINDS of WRATH' for us. Just imagine how tough that will be for him, especially now, but he'll be absolutely great.

We'll talk more about that later. For now, though, please take a moment of silence, say a prayer, whatever you like, and remember Bill with me. He was a funny, smart, amazingly talented guy. And you know, in a way, he'll never really be gone. You can hear him whenever you want.So long, Bill.
