Okay so Freedom Planet 2 Demo is out now! What amazed me at the start is that this game is made with Unity not FusionGod I need to learn how to use UnityI have it but can’t do jack with it.Well this game we can play as 4 players.Let’s take a look at them.

Freedom Planet 2 Demo

So after seeing the recent trailer I decided to download the demo off of the Steam store page, but I ran into a peculiar snag. For some reason the entire game seemed to be running 'slower' than the last time I played the demo. The game is running at 60 fps (at least according to the various fps tracking tools I used) but for some reason everything is slower and floatier.

It takes Lilac about 5-6 seconds to perform a Dragon Boost, jumping and falling feels like the gravity had been turned down a couple of notches, and even when going down a steep incline the run speed doesn't go any higher than a brisk walk even though my character is doing there full speed run animation. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to solve it? I would hope to get this resolved now before the final game comes out. Check you either graphics card or monitor settings. You won't get precise instructions, because there are milion different driver/hardware combinations, but generally you want to check which refresh rate you are using.60Hz is industry standard, so try to lower/increase it to this level. You need to find that setting and check the game.

You can then tell which Hz value you had, so info could be passed to devs about possible bug. Also, IIRC there is a refresh rate option in demo? Fiddle with it, if it exists. Originally posted by:Check you either graphics card or monitor settings.

Freedom Planet is a combat-based platform adventure that pits a spunky dragon girl and her friends against an alien attack force. There’s trouble around every turn, from insects to giant robots to sheer explosive destruction, but you’ll have a variety of special fighting abilities to.

I also use a 144hz monitor and can confirm that that capping it at 60 did fix the issue. One little thing to note though: I tried switching back to 144hz after loading the game up and it still ran fine.

It only started slowing down again when I closed the game completely then started back up while my monitor was still at 144hz. Not sure if this is a bug or anything but I thought I'd just throw it out there. Originally posted by:You can upload your findings here:Just make sure that there isn't a duplicate there:.

I made a short skim and didn't see one, but it's good to check it once more.If this what you described is a consistent, you might have noticed an important clue to fixing this issue. (that switch after booting game). I checked myself and also didn't see anything so I went ahead and submitted it.

I hope my findings can prove useful is quashing this problem before the final release. I'm really looking forward to this game.
