It is stated that no children above the age of 13 have a neuro-linker which is why brain burst remains a secret program.Kuroyukihime helps him deal with the bullies and then introduces him to brain burst, a secret and hidden program that allows the acceleration of the human cognitive process to such a point at which it seems that the time has stopped. Haruyuki soon learns that brain burst is more than just a program but is an augmented reality massive multiplayer online fighting game where players duel to earn burst point to gain abilities in the real world.Brain Burst is a program that allows the players to make time appear to stop in their surroundings by “accelerating” their brainwaves in the real world. And players must battle with other players in a virtual reality massive multiplayer (VRMMO) to gain more burst points which can later be used by players to use brain burst and if a player results in losing all their burst points, they would never be able to use the program again. This would result in the removal of the program from the player’s brain which would result in no recollection or memory of the program which is one of the biggest reasons why the existence of the Accelerated World remains a secret.Haruyuki then helps Kuroyukihime reach level 10 by defeating the “SI Kings of Pure Colour” to meet the creator of the game to find out the purpose of the game.

By teaming together, they encounter many adventures, meeting new allies, defeating enemies while their friendship grows.
