The Star Fox team arrives on Wii U for a new adventure. Fox, Falco, Peppy and Slippy save the Lylat system in this new deep space dogfighting adventure. Using the Wii U GamePad controller and the TV together creates a unique interface that allows players to experience the game with two different viewpoints within the Arwing – aim and shoot enemies in one direction while flying in another. This frees up the TV for a more cinematic flight experience. Then, pilot the Arwing with its new Walker transformation, along with the new Gyrowing and the Landmaster Tank, to traverse interplanetary terrain.

Star Fox Zero largely follows the classic gameplay of its predecessors, such as Star Fox 64, in which players control Fox McCloud as he pilots his Arwing craft through various levels. A seasoned pro and the glue that holds the team together, Peppy gives battle advice and tactical tips to the rest of the Star Fox team and is a noted expert in Barrel Roll maneuvers. Finally, at the edge of the city, fly over the arched buildings instead of through them to claim the final badge - the medal will appear directly ahead of you.Alternate Path After exiting corneria city (passing over/under the two archways with the mounted cannons inside), transform into the Walker (press A) and step on the red switch on the ground. This will open the doors ahead of you and open the pathway (and earn a medal).If you open the door after unlocking to Portal in this mission (by completing ), you will fly through the portal and be transported to the boss fight.Drone Carrier After defeating the ten enemy ships, a cutscene showing Spider Drones emerging from a container will trigger.Transform into the walker and enter the container shown in the cutscene (near where you entered the area) to cause the medal to appear. This can also be accomplished by flying your Arwing inside and U-Turning (to avoid taking damage).Destroy Androsa from Within Instead of simply destroying all four of the radar dishes on the exterior of Androsa, destroy only one, then fly into the opening appears as that section falls away. You will be transformed into Walker mode - follow the path to the end of the hall.The core of Androsa appears - destroy it by shooting the green crystals that are rotating on the core’s exterior. Eliminating the boss in this way will earn you a medal and a Mission Accomplished rating for the mission.Phase 01 After the opening cutscene, fly across the water (destorying any enemies that cross your path as you go).
